How to Promote Your Band #3

A weekly article featuring 7 steps to promote your band

Week 3

1. Create a Word or Text Document that you can edit and save. Save all your band info so that you can quickly copy/paste info when setting up new sites.
2. Buy a black & white marble composition notebook to keep by your computer with all your site info like URL's, usernames and passwords.
3. Write a short, descriptive, accurate biography. Keep it simple stupid. 
4. Creatively describe your band members and their unique playing styles.
5. Pick several artists your band sounds like.
6. Pick several artists that have influenced you, this should be different than "sounds like".
7. Pick Several genres that you fit into. Or simply create your own genre.

Complete one step every day!

*Of course, you may have already completed these steps and if so, sign-in to all of your accounts, upload files, update status, edit bio, change profile pic, answer messages, comment on posts, like posts and say hi to people.
